We are pleased to inform you that we will welcome guests on our estate from April 28th. The decision to open our hotel has been preceded by a meticulous process in consultation with the local government. Herewith we would like to explain this to you.
After the first government measures to prevent the transfer of COVID-19, we decided not to be open anymore, despite the fact that hotels were and are allowed to be open. The rapid increase in infections at that time and the prioritization of the safety of the health of guests and employees prompted us to make that decision.
We closely monitor the developments surrounding COVID-19 and we always comply with the government decision. The resumption of our adapted services has been carefully weighed up to comply with the RIVM measures and the regulations of the safety region (local government).
Having considered all interests, we have come to an adapted organisation of our estate. This is in accordance with the safety rules of the government and does not affect the quality our guests are used to be served from us. We now will provide our services according to a protocol we inform guests in advance and we thoroughly discuss with them upon their arrival. This way we can guarantee a relaxing stay on our estate during this special time. Space, privacy, security and pure unwinding; that’s our guests need now.

Our team is ready to welcome guests on full board basis; our only possible offer at the moment regarding the responsibility and safety of our services and at a quality level you are used to from us. We now have only opened a limited number of hotel rooms on our 10-hectare estate. A minimum stay of two nights can be booked online and by telephone:
- three types of hotel rooms: Comfort rooms, De Luxe rooms and Grand Luxe rooms;
- the private villa ‘the Manegehuis’
- the entire estate

Our measures for space and security
This special situation requires special measures. Actually, peace, space and privacy are three pillars on which our services are based on a daily basis. For an adapted and responsible service to our guests we have taken the following measures:
- If you have a fever or a cold, please do not come to our estate but stay home. This also applies to your family members or other travel companions of your group.
- Bookings of this package up to and including 19 May can be canceled on the basis of a 100% reimbursement in the form of a voucher (personalised, not exchangeable for cash, valid until 1 April 2021).
- Keep 1.5 meters away from other guests and our employees.
- A stay at Het Roode Koper is only possible on a full board basis.
- The limited number of available hotelrooms are spread over several buildings.
- On arrival of the guests, we discuss the stay and the measures with them extensively (of course at an appropriate distance).
- Spacious, private tables are allocated to guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- The tables in the diningrooms and on the terraces are at an appropriate distance from each other. We have expanded the capacity for outdoor dining.
- Lounges and bar are closed.
- In the gardens we create a private seating area for every group of guests.
- The sun beds at the pool terrace are allocated to guests privately. The pool itself is closed.
- The tennis court is closed.
- During the guests’ stay we will not enter their room. We will make arrangements for stays longer than five days. We hand over clean towels every day, in front of your room.
- Use of sanitary facilities is only in the hotel room, not in public areas.
- We request payments by bank card. We disinfect the pin device after every action. We cannot accept cash and credit card.
- Dogs and other pets are unfortunately not welcome on our estate. Neither do horses.
- The estate is closed to all other people not staying in our hotel.
