the autumn season
The forests are colorful, the temperature is still pleasant and the game season has started. Come and enjoy beautiful walks and delicious game dishes in the Veluwe. After a nice walk in the woods or a tough MTB ride, it is lovely to sit near the burning fireplace in the lounge.
PEARLS OF NATURE
Our estate is surrounded by 3000 hectares of undulating countryside. Walking and cycling routes start directly from the hotel.
ENDLESS CYCLING
Take a challenging (day) tour through the woods and across the heath with an ATB or rent a racer for a circuit of North Western Veluwe.
Our guest house the Poolse house is located on the edge of the estate, in the forest.

Your own horse will also get a warm welcome at our own stables at the estate. There are many equestrian trails and bridle paths through the landscape of the Veluwe.
ACTIVE ON THE TENNIS COURT
In the middle of the woods and surrounded by rhododendrons, you'll find our tennis court. Whacking a ball around together for fun or would you rather play more seriously? Tennis rackets for children can be picked up at the reception.
Museum Art
With nearly 90 paintings and more than 180 drawings, the Kröller-Müller Museum owns the second largest Van Gogh collection in the world. Only 30 minutes by car from Het Roode Koper.
Wonderful summer stay
The outdoor swimming pool on our estate is open until 1 November. The water is heated to 26 degrees. On a beautiful late summer day it is great to stay at The Poolhouse.
A REFRESHING DIP
In the monumental garden, close to the villa and the Poolse Huis, you'll find The Poolhouse, the heated swimming pool, open from April till October. An expansive terrace around the pool provide comfortable sun loungers.
SUMMER DISHES
In The Poolhouse restaurant with lounge terrace we serve beautiful summer dishes like wraps, salads and oysters. Also you can enjoy a healthy smoothie or a nice champagne.
A Picnic in the garden
One day you'll choose to do some sportive activities, the other day for unwinding at the estate. Find a nice spot in the garden and enjoy a richly filled picnic.
