The luxury of space and privacy

Hidden in the Leuvenum forests, our estate merges seamlessly into the largest continuous nature reserve in the Netherlands: the Veluwe.

The characteristic villa and monumental buildings exude timeless charm, while the expansive gardens and wooded surroundings invite all generations to be together in harmony. At Het Roode Koper, you experience ultimate privacy and freedom: so much space that everyone can follow their own rhythm, relax and enjoy themselves, and be together at the same time. Het Roode Koper offers luxury, space, and a sense of coming home, right in the heart of nature.

Step into the forest

Step off the estate and into nature. Hiking routes start right next to Het Roode Koper and lead you through kilometers of forest, heathland, and tranquil landscapes. Discover the surroundings in peace and at your own pace, or let yourself be guided by a forester who will show you the hidden beauty of the area.

CYCLING THROUGH ENDLESS NATURE

By bike, your route also starts directly at the estate. Explore the vast surroundings via beautiful cycle paths or opt for a sportive challenge on the mountainbike route that runs past Het Roode Koper: a 21-kilometer loop, which can be extended with an additional 23-kilometer loop.

From relaxed tours to active rides – we are happy to provide the right transport. From city bikes to mountainbikes, tandems, and cargo bikes, all electric if desired. This way, you always set off worry-free, exactly as it suits you.

OUT AND ABOUT WITH YOUR HORSE

For lovers of the outdoors, Het Roode Koper offers the opportunity to explore the surroundings on horseback. Stable your horse at the riding school and ride out directly onto the bridle paths from the estate. The junction routes lead you through vast nature reserves, with various locations along the way for a relaxing break, where your horse is also catered for.

A FRESH DIP

On a beautiful sunny day, it is wonderful to spend time at The Poolhouse, the heated outdoor swimming pool with a terrace and second restaurant on our estate. Whether you want to swim laps, enjoy a recreational swim, or relax on the luxury sun loungers, the choice is yours.

Our tennis court is nestled among trees and blooming rhododendrons, right in the middle of nature. Rackets and balls are available, so you can play a carefree game at any time.

By the fireplace

Gather by the fire pit for an aperitif or a coffee, and take the time to catch up. Whilst the fire crackles gently, listen to the silence of the forest – and, in season, the rutting of the deer.
